Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluations
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is a thorough assessment that is usually conducted during the initial visit or sometimes the first few visits. These visits tend to be longer, 90-120 minutes in length, and are designed to explore a person’s mental health through detailed history taking, interviews, and assessments. The information collected is then used to identify potential disorders or diagnoses, and through shared decision-making, develop a personalized treatment plan and establish goals for our work together.
