Meet Meghan

“The thing that breaks your heart is the very thing you were born to help heal.
Every world changer’s work begins with a broken heart.”

― Glennon Doyle, Untamed
Meghan has been touched personally and professionally by the lack of resources and the abundance of stigma and shame that surrounds mental health. She is passionate about talking about mental health and suicide, implementing harm reduction strategies, eliminating stigma and shame, increasing access, and meeting people where they are in their journey. She is a fierce advocate for mental health, social justice, and her patients.
Meghan moved to Jericho in 2008 with her husband and two toddlers, fresh out of nursing school. She dreamed of one day opening her own practice in rural Vermont and changing the world. Now, nearly twenty years later, she has three kids, two dogs, and an alpaca and is finally seeing her dream come to fruition, though differently than she initially envisioned.
When Meghan is not working, she enjoys making EPIC playlists, writing poetry, and baking and is admittedly a bit of a fitness and Peloton fanatic. She loves spending time with her husband and three kids, watching them play sports or perform, skiing and enjoying the outdoors, or staying in and playing games and watching movies. You can also find her walking or hiking with her dogs, Piggy and Rosa, or grabbing coffee with friends.
